We spent today gathering inventory for the impending arrival of our website. Sure I've finished the guts of the site, but we are nothing without inventory. One of the pitfalls of starting a business is the fact that sometimes, you start to miss the most important part of your business taking care of all of the little things. You work on the website, marketing, setting up accounts, and bowing to the regulations of the ever present tax man, then suddenly you realize that you've neglected your most important tasks.
Anyway, we now have a very nice start, but it is still going to take some time to catalog and assess the value of the merchandise we have. Also, we have some plans for acquiring more inventory in the next few days. After all, how can we make a living if we have nothing to sell?
